Mobile Advertising Marketing - Mobile Marketing Business

Marketing as always been use by companies to increase not only their profits but also their presence and brand awareness which means potential customers can buy into their products and/or services and this will trigger increase in their revenue. Marketing mediums such as TV, Radio, Newspaper, E-mail, internet and Social media have been use. However, mobile ad marketing started around 2000 and is gaining more ground now as a stand alone marketing tool or it is use as a combined tool together with the traditional ways of marketing to produce outstanding results for big companies. I believe small companies need to tap into this opportunity fast and move with time to enhance your productivity.

For those that do not understand Mobile marketing, I will give you a brief explanation of what it means. It is refer to as one of the two categories of marketing on or with a mobile device, such as a cell phone or with a more old fashion definition, is meant to describe marketing in a traditional way - for example - technology road shows or moving billboards. Mobile marketing is a means of communication to a targeted group or individual that is design to add value in order to produce a form of action or response using a mobile phone and/or device. However, I am focusing on marketing with mobile device, the cell phone. Note that mobile marketing is not only about mobile phone, it also includes other devices that is portable and easily carried around by people or your customers e.g. iPads.

Mobile marketing is can be generally defined as “the use of mobile as a medium of marketing products and/or services through communication” or “distribution of any kind of promotional or advertising messages to customer(s) and/or prospect customers through wireless networks”. To be more specific, it means the using of interactive wireless media, e.g cell phone, to provide clients with location and time sensitive, often targeted information that promotes goods, services and ideas, thereby generating value for all business owner(s). It is a way you can increase and strengthen your customers’ satisfaction.

I will take you through ONE type of mobile marketing you can use to boost your revenue. Focusing more on the most effective way that I know will benefit your business greatly.

There are various ways of advertising through the mobile; one is through e-mails, where most people can receive on their Smartphone, iPhones, Blackberry and ipads. But remember that not everybody have access to mobile internet. Another way of mobile advertisement is through text messaging, normally called SMS including multimedia marketing send to people to inform your customers of important event, offers including discount or last minute offer. And you could also use text messaging to introduce your business to new audience participation-based campaign to visit your website (if you have one) or your location. I particularly believe this to be the current best marketing strategy you could use to grow your business. It can be use as a viral marketing tool, where your customer forward your SMS to other people they know might be interested in your products and/services.

Benefit of using SMS include
v It is very easy to run just about any type of your SMS marketing strategy, promotion or campaign using the method I will discuss below.
v You can get your campaign out and running in minute, which does not waste time, energy and resources.
v It supports practically any mobile phone in world.
v Apart from sending from one mobile phone to another, it can also be sent from a machine such as PC(web), application or server to a user,
v Your customers and/or your prospective customers will get the SMS within 1 minute of sending it.
v It can be use as an ongoing opt-in mobile advertising campaign.
v You reach greater audience than the traditional methods (do you know that 97% percent of mobile phone user open their text message immediately they receive it compare e-mails, where people have to wait until they have access to their e-mail, which we all know is often will be deleted or sent to junk mail as spam).  A study by Opus Research shows that 97% of all SMS marketing messages (text messages) are opened and 83% within one hour. This clearing show that these statistics blow away those internet advert and other online advertisement. The mobile marketing features allow you to send and receive SMS messages and set up actions to be automatically performed when SMS messages are received.
v You can send bulk SMS messages to groups of subscribers (great for offering your promotions, coupons (saves you money on printing out coupons) or other notification(s)).
v You can send out individual SMS messages to each customer (perfect for reminders).
v You can create SMS auto-responders (this allows your customers to respond to your adverts).
v You can build text-to-subscribe services to let clients sign up to hear more from you by email, wherever they are.
v You can send and receive messages from your own applications, using your PDA or other gadget.
v You can track sent messages, with full delivery receipts.
v Its relatively inexpensive and allows you as a business to reach out to highly targeted consumers.
v It is a very effective marketing strategy that would not cost you the world.
v Millions of people have the ability to receive text message anywhere in the world.
v Engage your clients/customers with loyalty and retention based program.
v Build-up customer based lists.
v Reach your customers directly compare to TV ads.
v Increase your customer’s loyalty, engagement and satisfaction.
Do you want your customers to know about a last minute offer or important information like an event, an event reminder or want to give your customers a way to contact you directly from a print advert, so they don't have to wait until they check their e-mail and probably forget before they even get to their desk especially for those that do not have access to Smartphones yet (will discuss how you can solve this problem further below)? Then use a SMS service to solve your problem.

How to Start a Money Making Website

How to Create a Traffic Website

Websites are the best way to promote your product, your business or even yourself. Here is a guide on how to do it.

  1. Think of an idea for your new website. If you already know what you want to make your website about, skip this step.Try not to "copy" other's idea's. Create a traffic website with a topic which you strongly love.
  2. Identify your market. What kinds of people would each of your website ideas serve? Some websites, like Yahoo or Google, are as general as it gets, while other sites, like Weebles, serve a very specific bunch. Write down the target market next to each of the ideas on your list. Conduct market research--Who is your audience? What do they do? How old are they? What are their other interests? All of this information can help you make your website more useful to you.
  3. Do keyword research to determine if other people are searching for your topics and learn more about your potential clients. There are many free keyword tools to help you get more information about your topic. You will need to find keywords that are in demand (people are looking for it) yet have some chance of finding your site. Like a site on web hosting is too broad of a topic. Forum webhosting is a little better (narrower) topic.
  4. Figure out your commitment. How much time and money are you willing to put into your website? If you want to create an everlasting e-business, you would have to spend lots of time and money. Remember that if you are making a content site you have to spend less money and less investment. But check below
    • Content sites will require less investment, but you will also face more competition, since anyone can start a content site. To make money from this kind of site, you provide information and generate income from the traffic you receive through advertising. The trick also will be to 'spin' your content and use specific keywords to narrow down your topic and write high quality content directed to specific people searching for those specific keywords.
    • E-commerce sites, which sell products, will need more maintenance and attention. You will also need to think about shipping, sales, order form security, inventory updates, and everything that a person with an offline storefront would have to manage.
  5. You can also sell other people's products which will let you make money without investing in any products or worrying about shipping.
  6. Narrow down your list. Which ideas stand to make the most profits? Which ideas require the most commitment? Which ideas look like they'd be fun to pursue? You will be spending time working on your website, so choose the idea you are most passionate about (that is also profitable and practical for you).
  7. Register your domain name. Find a domain name that is easy to remember and spell, if you use domains ending with .com, you will end up with more traffic. But remember to get creative!
  8. Choose a web host. Choosing a web host is not at all easy (see below) and it really is hard to choose, if you are making a buisness, make sure you try to stick to Site Build It! (sbi.com) or go on to powweb.com and get a website done. If you need any "Free" services download wordpress or go to wordpress.com. It also is trying to change it a bit to a static website, so try moving there if you need it free! (it also provides domain names)
  9. Research online website building services. You may wish to learn HTML or CSS code, but there are other ways to make a site for people more familiar with desktop publishing software.
  10. Build your website. Here you have a few different options.
    • Get a website-building program and do it yourself. While this might work for your dried bug page, if you are unsure of your design eye and ability, then it's probably not the best choice if you're trying to make a sharp, professional impression (especially if you're trying to get people to part with their money).
    • Learn a programming language (or two, or three) and build a website from scratch.
      • HTML is incredibly easy to learn, and if you are up to it, you will be able to tweak your web design any way you want, and you would not have to pay anybody else to update or change your site.
      • XHTML is the new web language set by W3C's standards. Almost identical to HTML, it follows a stricter set of rules for marking up information - what this means, for the most part, is minor changes to the way you write code.
      • CSS, which stands for "Cascading Style Sheets", gives more flexibility for styling the HTML.
      • A browser sided scripting language, such as JavaScript, allows you to make your page interactive.
      • A server sided scripting language (PHP, ASP with JavaScript or VB Script or Python) can be used to change the way web pages appear to different people and edit or create forums. They can also help store information about people who visit your site, like their username, settings, and even temporary "shopping carts" for commercial sites.
      • Wordpress is another great option for building website. Wordpress is a free application that can be installed on your web server and make updating and organizing content very easy.
      • AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is a technique of using a browser sided language and a server sided language to make the page get new information from the server without refreshing the page, often greatly reducing user wait time and vastly improving the user's experience but increasing bandwidth usage. Think of the possibilities: you could probably make a web based instant messaging service!
    • Hire a professional. This is the best option for more advanced sites, especially e-commerce sites.
    • Use a free static site generator to create your site structure, navigation, and CSS stylesheet for you, then download your files and put them on your own server.
  11. Use keywords that your target audience would search for to get a better search engine ranking. There are several tools available from Google, Overture, and third party software developers that can make the keyword research process easier. Sprinkle the keywords you've chosen throughout your text, but not to the extent that it hurts the quality of your content. Creating pages that are optimized for the search engines will help you get your site found which is really more important than design. What good is a site that no one sees?
  12. Upload your website. Your web host may have an FTP feature, or you can download your own FTP program like FileZilla. If you hired a professional to design the website, he or she may take care of this for you.
  13. Test drive your website. When you finish your website, do usability testing. You can do this by simply asking a few friends or family members to use your website. Give them a specific task like "edit your profile" or "buy an alpaca sweater from the bargains page." Sit behind them and watch them navigate. Do not help them. You will likely find areas where you need to improve navigation or clarify some instructions.
  14. Inspect your website. Missing tags, broken links, search engine optimization, and website design flaws are all factors which may affect your website's traffic and revenues. You may also generate a free full-functioning site map to submit to search engines like Google in a matter of minutes.
  15. Advertise. Submit your site to major search engines. Tell your friends. Use an e-mail address with your domain. Visit other websites that complement (not compete with) yours, and offer to exchange links. Post constructively on blogs and forums, and put your URL in your signature.
  16. Use article marketing to get back links to your website which will also help your website get found by the search engines.
  17. Provide quality content and service. Take constructive feedback seriously. Other band members, fans, and friends may all have easier navigation ideas. Think about your target market: their needs, their frustrations, their circumstances, and seek to make their lives easier. Strive for a win-win situation for you and your visitors.Tips
  • Begin with simple things, practice them and then advance, even if what you create is not very impressive at the time; do not attempt to rush through the tutorials in one. You need to understand them very well, so take your time and test things out. If you wonder whether or not something will work, don't suppress the urge, but find out.
  • People are often in a hurry. This means that you may only have between 10 and 30 seconds to capture your visitor's attention. To minimize your load time, keep graphics small. Compress them where possible. Use flashy technology JavaScript, Flash, Streaming Audio/Video, etc. sparingly and only if it is important to your presentation. You can check your site's loading time in WebWait.com.
  • If you intend to sell a product on your website, you will need to be able to accept secure credit card payments. You can apply for a merchant account, which charges a per-transaction fee, or use a free payment service like PayPal.
  • Before beginning to read a tutorial, make sure it is the best of the best; you do not want to find half way through that the tutorial's flawed or putting you to sleep. You do not want to have to read the same content over again in a good tutorial, do you? So look into lots of search engine results before picking your tutorial!
  • Find popular websites, even if they do not have much to do with yours, and use them as models. What are they doing right? Incorporate what you learn from the big shots into your own website. Don't be a copycat, but don't re-invent the wheel.
  • If you hire a professional to code a complicated site, remember that programmers are not all graphic designers. The most eye-catching sites out there have been made by or with the input of someone involved in graphic design. Programmer also does not usually know much about search engine optimization and getting your website to the top of Google. Try to find someone who does know that or you can learn on your own too.
  • Create a REAL website. A lame boring website would not do any good! Make it want to attract the people that will bring traffic to your website.
  • You can host a business site on sitebuildit.com, but it is expensive but totally worth it. It has a guarantee so don't even THINK after you try Sbi you are going to waste money.

Money on Google - Make Money With Google Adsense

How to Earn Money On Google

Make money with Google’s AdSense is a fascinating revenue-sharing opportunity for small, medium and large web sites. Some webmasters are designing brand new sites specifically for serving AdSense text ads, however it’s against the AdSense rules to design a site purely for AdSense, so you’ll want to include a few Affiliate links or sell your own product, too.
  • Quality is the most important part of any web site. If your site does not contain the content of expected quality the visitor might not come back.
  • Avoid non-English characters on English pages. There is a bug which can cause these pages to show irrelevant French ads.
  • Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do say that it's the text content of the page that matters, not the meta tags.

  1. Determine a goal for what you want to earn using AdSense. Of course, you want to earn a lot, but make sure it's realistic.
    • Consider that to earn $1 a day per page, you need, per page…
      • visitors, 5% click-through rate (CTR) and average 5c payout.
      • Or 200 visitors, 10% CTR and an average 5c payout.
      • Or 100 visitors, 10% CTR, and an average 10c payout.
      • Or 100 visitors, 5% CTR, and an average 20c payout
  2. Consider whether these goals will be possible given your site. While an average 5c payout is likely attainable, 5-10% CTR is often seemed unrealistic in most websites. In the days when Google adsense shows up everywhere, users seem lesser eagar in clicking them. 0.5% CTR is fairly common, 3% is ideal , 5% is bordering on unrealistic goals. Try to create more sites, each attracting some traffic.
  3. Be realistic: Forget about the fantasy story you read on internet about earning big money on Google. If you think of making a website and getting to be instant rich, it is likely to disappoint you. Imagine that if you build a small website with 100,000 page views per month with 0.5% CTR and 5c average payout, you will only get US$25 (100,000 x 0.5% x 0.5c). To achieve 100,000 page views a month, you possibly need 500-1000 users. By theory, your website can reach more than billions of internet users in the whole world, but there are also 100 millions of websites competing for users.
  4. Start building keyword-rich pages containing well researched, profitable keywords, and get lots of high quality links to your site. For example, if your site is about topics such as debt consolidation, web hosting or asbestos-related cancer, you’ll earn much more per click than if it’s about free things. On the other hand, if you concentrate only on top-paying keywords, you’ll face an awful lot of tough competition. What you want are keywords that are high in demand and low in supply, So do some careful keyword research before you build your pages.

WHAT IS PAGE RANKING AND SNIPING

How to Improve Search Engine Page Ranking For Free

Showing up on search engines is one of the most critical ways to increase website traffic and expose your content, product or service to people who might be interested in what you have to offer. Most of the major search engines utilize an algorithm to determine where a website ranks. The search engines have set up specific criteria that a website must meet to get to the top of the list. The criteria are different for every engine, but all engines share several commonalities. It all boils down to the type and amount of content provided on a given website, the level of optimization done on the site, and the popularity of the website (link popularity/PageRank). Tailoring your website for improved search engine rankings is also known widely as search engine optimization, or SEO.

Research the keywords. Decide what search queries you want to show up for. Do some research on how many people are actually searching for your site. Many times it is best to consult a "natural search engine optimization" professional during this process. There are several tools available from Google, Overture, and third party software developers that can make the keyword research process easier.
  1. Target niche keywords with low competition. Try to use Google Adwords to check how competitive before deciding on it. Besure that the keywords has enough searches. Try using broadkeywords too
  2. Think outside of the box. Don't just focus on your main keywords. The first thing to realize when targeting keywords is that it is not all about ranking for the most popular keyword. The most successful search engine marketing and optimization campaigns target the most relevant keywords. For example, if you are a realtor in a particular area, don’t just optimize your site for “real estate." Optimize your site for dentist, florist, movie theaters, etc. You would be amazed how many unique visitors will come through to your site when "outside of the box" thinking occurs.
  3. GOOGLE SNIPER
  4. Focus on the end user. If you spend too much time trying to please the Search Engine Spiders, you may forget about the end user. Think about what your target market needs to accomplish their goals, and then put it on your site so that they can find it. The phrase "content is king" was born about 6 years ago, and it still holds true today. If you want to be relevant for specific keywords, than you need  superior or at least highly competitive content. Write about 225-300 words of copy for each keyword and plant it on your site each day. Grow, grow, and grow. On average, one can target between 3-5 like keyword phrases per page. Make it as natural as possible and the Search Engines will reward you with a first-page ranking.
  5. Make sure that all the pages of the site have custom titles and descriptions. If your site is using the same tags for all the pages, you are not helping search engines figure out the subject or relevance of your individual pages. Regarding Meta Tags, there are 2 very important fields:
    • Title Tag - arguably the most important SEO tag for any website. Google supports approx. 60 characters in the title, while Yahoo allows for up to 110 characters in the title. It is important to target the most critical keywords in the Title. Every page should have a unique Title.
    • META Description Tag - These were once important but are no longer. Some engines do display the description defined, while others do not. Some search engines do read the description tag, and do utilize the content found within in the ranking process. Google, MSN and Yahoo give very little weight to no weight for these.
  6. To make sure that you have not missed any tags or damaged any links in the process, use an inspection tool to look over your website. In the process of inspection, you will also automatically be provided with a sitemap (refer to step 7 for significance).
  7. Keep the structure, navigation and URL structure of your site simple enough for search engines to follow. Remember that search engines cannot parse your navigation if it's using flash or javascript. So try to stay close to standard HTML when it comes to Navigation. URLs with dynamic parameters (?, &, SIDs) usually do not perform when it comes to search engine rankings.
  8. Create a site map that tells people where everything is on your site. You will get about a 1% click through rate to your site map. However, it will do wonders for those who know what site maps do, and the Search Engines will like it as well.
  9. Build up your popularity. So now you have determined the right keywords on the right pages, you've created all of the necessary content, and you've optimized all of the content to the best of your capabilities. Congratulations - you're now in the top 80th percentile (from an optimization standpoint) of the websites listed for the keywords you're trying to target. So how do you get a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd page listing? The answer is quite simple: You have to be the most popular, too. That's right, it's a popularity contest. In other words, how many other websites know you (link to you), and how popular are they? This is typically referred to as link popularity, or called PageRank by Google. The more sites that link to your site the better, and the more popular the site linking to you the more value you will receive for your link popularity. The best types of "link building" are directory registration, text link advertising, and press release distribution. Try to offer valuable information or tools so that other people are motivated to link to your site. Well-linked sites (that don't use spamming) do better in search engines.
  10. Build up good quality content. This will draw regular visitors to your website (from wikiHow)
